Keep our focus on God, Eyes set toward Eternity, to be Kingdom minded through
the mind of Christ.
“Lord, you are my secret hiding place,
protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness! Your
joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough.”
(Ps. 32:7)
Dear Partners and Prayer
Warriors,
While technology being as it is and the
ability to see one another through livestream, FaceTime or other Social Media is
good, it is still not the same as being together in person. God never intended
for us to not be social or not to have the means to reach out and physically
touch one another. It was not His plan at all! As I was writing my prayers, the
pen seemed to glide effortlessly across the page and the Lord opened the eyes of
my heart showing me how I truly felt during this time of social distancing.
These are the words that flowed out of me:

Good Morning
Father, Thank you for being
the Secret Place where my
prayers are heard and the desires of my heart are given. Thank you for
loving me, protecting me, holding me and keeping me unseen from enemy
forces. In the Secret Place
there is no fear, no angst or animosities, no doubt; only Your Peace
that surpasses my understanding. A place of refuge and rest where I gain
my strength and no weapon formed against me prospers. |
The Secret Place is
somewhere I can come to anytime, stay as long as I need to and can tell Abba
anything that is on my heart, and He welcomes it. The Secret Place is intimate
and Holy, a place of certainty and assured comfort.

The Secret Place is
where I gather my wits and gain Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding from
the one who is Perfect Love and tends to my heart so completely. In the
Secret Place there is no interruption and a reverential awe that is felt
from the very depths of my being. In the Secret Place
I am firmly grounded and nothing can sway me. You are my Firm
Foundation. Father, I thank you
for being The Secret Place. There is no one like You and no other
besides You! In You all things are held together, where my strength and
tenderness come from and where my heart sings the loudest. You are my
hiding place, my fortress and strong tower. In You all my needs are met
according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In You there is a
table set before my enemies and you give me beauty for ashes, healing
for my infirmities and Joy for a spirit of heaviness. All of Your
promises are “yes in Him” to me! You are the Alpha and Omega and You do
not change. I am in You and You are in me and we are one in Christ.
I love You and thank you for
being my Secret Place. In
the name of Jesus. Amen. |

There is a deep
well on the inside each of us where the Secret Place dwells in Christ
Jesus. During times of uncertainty and in well doing, we are all
welcomed at The Secret Place.
During the time of social distancing, because of COVID-19, and as
we are coming out of it into a different and new normal, let us always
remember that we are never alone! “The God of Peace
will soon crush satan under your feet…”
(Rom. 16:20) Scriptures: Ps.

As always, it is our desire
that this letter finds you doing very well. We pray blessings over you in every
area of your lives. We ask that if you know someone to whom this letter will
speak words of life to, please share this with them.
Side note: Because of
COVID-19 counseling has slowed tremendously but is being offered by FaceTime and
by Zoom video for those who are willing to participate. It is certainly
different to counsel this way and certainly not how we would have it. If the
Lord lays it upon your heart to pray for us we certainly would appreciate your
prayers.
