Keep our focus on God, Eyes set toward Eternity, to be Kingdom minded through
the mind of Christ.
“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being
rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and
length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes
knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
(Ephesians 3:17-19 KJV) |
Dear Partners and Prayer Warriors, |
The
Most Amazing Miracle happened nearly 2000 years ago. Jesus
submitted himself to the will of God, and made Himself the Sacrificial
Lamb for us all! This phenomenal gift was not completely understood by
His disciples, although Jesus had already told them what His destiny
held. The night before His crucifixion, at the last supper as Jesus
taught them about the bread and the wine, Communion. Even then, their
finite minds could not truly grasp what He was saying to them nor the
events that would take place next. What they did come to understand is
that their friend and teacher was being condemned for telling the truth.
He was the Messiah!
Considering the words in Ephesians 3:18:
“may
be able to comprehend”, says our comprehension is limited to
what our senses can tell us.[Emphasis ours] We must learn to live, move
and have our being in the spirit to understand the things of the Holy
Spirit who brings spiritual comprehension to our heart. We live in a
finite world and the only way to get a glimpse of eternity is to look at
the universe and how vast it is, but it is still limited! Our
understanding of eternity is limited because we are bound in this world
by time.
To comprehend the width, length, depth and height of the love of Christ
we must submit our entire existence to Elohim! Unless and until we do
this, we will get only fleeting glimpses of what is the vastness of
eternity, our forever home. No one can comprehend the power of God that
was released when He spoke all things into existence in Genesis and
without the Holy Spirit we will never grasp the measurement of love that
Jesus has for us this side of heaven.
The mystery of The Word is where we can begin to see the wonders of God
through the gift of the Holy Spirit! Only the
Word of God,by His
Spirit, can bring the comprehension described in Ephesians 3. The good
news is anyone who desires comprehension can receive it just by asking
and reading the Word, who is Jesus!
The Good News is that Jesus came into this world to
be the sacrifice, once
and for all! He came
to wash the sins of the world away and we now get to celebrate Jesus
every day because of the love described in the above scripture.
His Word is now written on the tablet of our heart with the
promise that the Holy Spirit will bring all things to remembrance as
needed.
For a solid year now we have been fighting the good fight of faith
during a world pandemic, our own politics and the evil that has been
exposed and unleashed! However,
what the enemy meant for harm God will turn to good as we trust in Him
alone! We experience every single day, as the Children of God, more
understanding of the width, the length, the depth and the height of the
love of Christ and yet it is probable that we will not ever truly know
with our finite mind what this means! As we move closer to the Father
and place our trust in Him more fully, we become heaven bound, all
things will be made known and we will finally experience the one thing
our hearts have longed for; the pure full expression of His love and the
measurement there of.
We encourage you to stay in The Word.
Keep your focus on Him, eyes set toward eternity, to be Kingdom minded
through the mind of Christ. Let us continue to be the living letters of
Christ to our fellow man and let His love emanate from us onto the
hearts of others for as long as we have breath this side of heaven.
Easter has come and gone and we are marching toward May. It is hard to
believe that we are already this far in the New Year! As Mother’s Day
approaches and we make our way into summer
activities, always remember Who
loved you first and still loves you most. We most certainly love and
pray for every single one of you! We appreciate your prayers for us and
for your continued financial support of Loving People Enough Ministries.
We love doing life and ministry with you! |
Happy Belated Resurrection Day!
Happy Mother’s Day!
