“And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them” Luke 21:8.

Dear Partners and Prayer Warriors,

Scripture is clear about there being wars, rumors of wars, and the evil that is to come and is already happening! There will be depravities with lies touted as truth and the TRUTH treated as a lie. A media person once said “if it bleeds it leads!”   The only story about blood that matters is what Jesus did on Calvary, for all of us.  This should be the leading story of the day Every Day!

 The media builds hype, exaggerates, and outright lies to get us to pay attention to their headline news.  When the focus is on worldly things, we will then have a worldly perspective. However, when we focus on things above, Heavenly things, we then have a Godly perspective.  What you give attention to will decide your destination or outcome. What you feed your thoughts will guide your steps. It will either lift you up by faith or drag you down the slippery slope of doubt.  To doubt is to think two things at the same time. It is double mindedness. James 1:8.  STOP listening to the things that will only feed your feelings and START reading, listening and focusing on God’s Word.  It is the only TRUTH we have to stand on!

It is the Word of God who brings refreshment to your soul and healing to your body! (Prov. 3:7, 8.  4:20-22) When everything seems to be falling apart and crumbling, remember Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” 

No matter how loud and often a lie is told, it will never be the truth.  The truth is and will always be “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want”.  Only God knows the date and time of Jesus’ return, so live for the Lord each day and His peace will pursue you all the days of your life. The actor Wilford Brimley once said in a movie, “slow down, you’ll have a much more harmonious outcome”.  Take time to know Truth intimately and He will set you free!
