December 2022

Keep our focus on God, Eyes set toward Eternity, to be Kingdom minded through the mind of Christ.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

“…for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matt. 6:21

Dear Partners and Prayer Warriors,

As this year comes to an end, we want to tell you a bit about what your dedicated support of Loving People Enough Ministries has done.  First, we want to say thank you for all of the prayers that you have so diligently covered us with.  Without your covering, this last year would have been far more challenging than it has been. Our hearts are full of Thanksgiving and Gratefulness toward God above for placing each of you in our lives. We love and pray for you often.

Because of your support for Loving People Enough Ministries, together we have been able to partner with others in helping meet the needs of many.  Aside from counseling, this includes helping others with basic living needs like clothing, transportation and benevolence funds. With your help we have also given to missions, both World Missions and to Local Mission Minded Ministries. In all of this it has been fun to connect and coordinate with others, for others, and for the Kingdom. This has been a very eventful year!  If it were not for your generous prayers and financial support, many of these needs would not have been met. The absolute best part is that we will all share in the blessings and rewards of heaven together.

Because Loving People Enough Ministries is primarily a counseling ministry we would be amiss if we didn’t mention what we have been able to accomplish. LPEM has and is meeting the challenge of many who are still looking for relief of a hurt and wounded soul. Covid 19 proved to be a fierce fight that has changed a society and individuals in these past few years. The aftermath of the Corona Virus crisis has left many in desperate need of counseling because of addiction, abuse, grief and coping in a very different and ever changing world. Counseling still continues strong at our office, the New Legacy Home for Women and wherever we are allowed to share the Word of God. Doug travels a lot and he finds himself in the role of Pastor quite often as he speaks with others throughout the week and he has Divine Holy Spirit appointed encounters that happen almost daily. It is a huge blessing to do what we get to do because of your prayers and partnership with us.

During this time of economic upheaval, remember who your source IS as stated in Mathew 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?  The provision God has for you is greater than any need or want you may have! As the year is coming to a close, we ask you to prayerfully consider a onetime year-end tax deductible donation in support of Loving People Enough Ministries (a 501c3 organization) to continue the work God has begun through all of us, together. We could not and would not do this without your generous prayers, financial support and encouragement to accomplish the mission set before us. Our prayer is that as 2023 approaches, that your new year is blessed and highly favored by God’s provision in your lives.  (January’s newsletter will have your yearly giving statements attached.)

We love you and pray for you and we are hopeful that you all will have a MERRY CHRISTMAS. Remember to let your light shine brightly!

Blessings,

Doug and Lisa
