Keep our focus on God, Eyes set toward Eternity, to be Kingdom minded through the mind of Christ.

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isa. 43:18-19)

Dear Partners and Prayer Warriors,

Nothing could be truer for our personal lives and for Loving People Enough Ministries than the above scripture. It is a now scripture; a word in season for us. There have been so many changes these last six months and we can honestly say that it has been challenging and a good stretching for us. Completely out of our comfort zone, you might say!

Stepping into a new season automatically implies that one is also stepping out of another. Letting go of things past and holding on to what is ahead is both exciting and a little ominous because we can’t see it yet. So what does this look like?

For starters, my time at the New Legacy Home for Women as their counselor has drawn to a close. Getting to be a part of something bigger than me for three plus years has been an awesome opportunity and an honor to serve the ladies whom I have had the privilege to be a vessel of the Lord’s and watch Him heal so many hearts. I am still counseling through our LPEM office and we are growing. We call on the Lord to bring the broken-hearted in from every compass point who can receive Him through us; His vessels.

Text Box: Doug has and is continuing to counsel and fellowship the Word of God everywhere his foot is placed. Doug, through the Holy Spirit is taking the ground back that the enemy has tried to steal from the hearts of others. This includes veterans, school administrators, teachers, hospital personnel, and strangers at the corner stores when he stops for snack supplies, etc. Doug is just everywhere!!!! When we were living in Georgia, a pastor spoke a word over Doug that has held true all these years: “I will not keep you indoors, at a desk, but I will send you out to the highways and byways.”   One thing that holds true for both of us is that getting to watch someone’s countenance change because they have had an encounter with God, never gets old! It is beyond expression and humbling to watch an awesome God in action.

Text Box:

Years ago, God gave to us two words that we wrote on the wall (actually on a sticky note stuck to the desk) that says:  “LPE MINISTRIES: We are Connectors & Coordinators.”  As one season has closed, God has stepped us into a whole new season that it is exhilarating and again, much larger than our selves. It is like we are gain

ing speed as we press into what God has for us next. He is indeed making “a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”  As I am typing this, I am reminded that those very words were spoken over us by a prayer partner /prayer warrior a while back during a very different time and place in our lives. I did not realize until this moment that it was prophecy. Thanks Judy!

Text Box:   We have had the opportunity to speak into three special couples lives. These are people that God has given visions and dreams to for Kingdom building.  We are in the process of helping these couples get ordained, establish their ministries and get their paperwork done.

What Doug and I see coming together is that in four ministries – ours and theirs; we see parts of a whole. Everyone is Spirit-filled and looking to Father for everything. We all specialize but at the same time fit together like hand in glove. As these things come together and begin to grow, we will tell you more about them. Meanwhile, pray for us that we can be the vessels God has called us to be and see this through! IF we are only to be the “connectors and coordinators” of what we see happening, well then ok! But we don’t think so! We believe that God is up to something so BIG that we can only see in part. Little parts! Actually, one part at a time; and thank goodness!  Thank You Father for what You are doing!

Thank you to each and every one of you who pray and partner with Loving People Enough Ministries. We cannot and do not want to do this without you. Your prayers and financial partnerships help this ministry and others to grow and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are Kingdom and thereby Kingdom builders! This earth is our footstool.

We pray blessings over each and every one of you!

We love you all,

Blessings!
